L.A. Theology Conference 2020: Pneumatology

Here is the first online public announcement of the theme and the speakers for the eighth annual Los Angeles Theology Conference on January 16-17, 2020.

We will be taking up the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, with a special focus on the role of pneumatology in the doctrine of God. Our five invited plenary speakers are:

Esther Acolatse, Knox College, University of Toronto
Daniel Castelo, Seattle Pacific University
Lucy Peppiatt, Westminster Theological Centre
Ephraim Radner, Wycliffe College
Fred Sanders, Torrey Honors Institute, Biola University

We’ll announce their specific topics and paper titles in due course, and then later in the spring we’ll issue a call for papers, providing more details about how we’ll be approaching pneumatology and what kind of parallel session papers we’re looking for to complete the conference.

The official site to watch will be latheology.com, which, contrary to pernicious rumors, is not dedicated to the study of lathes, but to this annual theology conference in la.
