Cornel West and Robert George joined Rick Warren at Biola University for a discussion about disagreement, common ground, and justice. West and George are good friends, yet disagree on important issues.
There is a lively discussion about halfway through as George talks about prudence and incrementalism in politics, with West challenging him with personal cost of being prudential. Moving incrementally may work politically, but let’s not forget the suffering endured in the meantime.
This event was co-sponsored by Torrey Honors Institute and the Biola University Center for Christian Thought.
