Men After God’s Heart: Men’s Bible Conference 2016

LABTS mens conference 2016Southern California friends, check this out: The Los Angeles Bible Training School is holding a conference for men on Jan 30 in Inglewood. I routinely call LABTS the best Bible Institute in Los Angeles, though I say that without meaning any disrespect to the numerous other ones out there faithfully getting the job done.

But speaking of getting the job done, just look at this men’s Bible conference. It’s carefully designed to help men focus on what matters most. As the brochure (click here) says, “It is easy for Christian men to pursue many things, but this conference will help you to pursue what is of utmost importance to the Lord Jesus Christ.” Notice that it’s not just a “men’s conference,” which might cover all sorts of things, but a men’s Bible conference, which makes it plain that we are gathering to learn from Scripture.

The speakers (Kidd, Montoya, Felix, Kira, Sanders) are Los Angeles-area pastors and teachers from a diverse set of churches and communities. In fact, this is one of the most ethnically diverse rosters I’ve ever been a part of, and I love the fact that it’s a coalition of doctrinally and biblically conservative Christians. There is a world of collaboration for the gospel going on here.

It’s coming up on Sat Jan 30 at Fairview Heights Baptist Church in Inglewood. The cost is only $15; click through for the brochure.
